Pastor Matthew Lower
Matt was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on 2 June 1995 into a strong Christian and Military Family From a young age, Matthew has longed to serve in the military. After high school in 2013, Matthew pursued attending the United States Coast Guard Academy (USCGA), to begin his Jag Career. However, during the Summer of 2013, he felt God’s call upon his life to become a Pastor and military chaplain at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Life Youth Conference in St. Louis, MO.
Due to his faith conviction and call upon his life, Matt decided to forgo his scholarship with the USCGA and attend Crown College in St. Bonifacius, MN to prepare for ministry. After graduating from Crown with a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Leadership in 2017, Matt furthered his education at Columbia Biblical Seminary in Columbia, SC. While attending CBS, Matt was ordained by the C&MA in April of 2019 and was commissioned into the Army as a Chaplain Candidate in May 2019. Matt was hired as the pastor of Crosswinds Alliance Church on March 1st, 2021. He and his wife Christy share the heart of bringing the knowledge of Jesus Christ to Butler and and all surrounding areas so that every man, woman and child may choose to call Jesus their personal Lord and Savior.
Matt is an avid sports fan, loves a good cup of coffee, and enjoys meeting new people.
